this is Erica Witter! she ran the 4 X 100m in Sydney
I actually met her today (Nov. 27, 00) and she is real cool! she's a biochemist that graduated and ran track at the University of Tennessee! She came to my school, because she use to go there! She was in the library and I got a friend to go with me. I chatted her up about sports and university while everyone was waiting in line! hehe, she didnt' once look like she was thinking (ok..next!). hehe. she's from hamilton, ont. and she is a really cool person! |

I am particularly interested in two players!! Cal Bouchard (6) and Stacey Dales (10) because they came to a camp that i was at. They talked about themselves and answered questions and after, they signed autographs. they signed my shirt, but it washed out....but brillant me, i asked them to sign my shoe also!! they didn't have a second thought about it, they are very, very cool! i talked to stacey a little, but not much. I did, though, talk to cal for a couple minutes! i waited until she was done signing all the autographs and went up to her. this is pretty much how our conversation went: "HEY!" "hello" "well, i first want to say good luck in sydney." "thanks!" "and second, WHEN you make it to the WNBA, i'm going to have to start a fan club for you if you don't all ready have one!" "oh cool!!" then she smiled and laughed, asked my name, and gave me a high five! i know i left an impression on her because when she left, she went and was talking to someone else and pointing back at me! man, that was one of the BEST days of my life! so, does anyone know how i would go about starting a fan club?! CAL is the first canadian drafted into the WNBA, she is on Detriot's team! |

i can't wait to see next years Canadian olympic team!!! they were great this year, so they have to be even better next year!! hehe, maybe i'll pitch in and give them a hand........i'll be the water girl! |
